TUMOUR FISH part 1
Marlon Fish was mental. At least that was the opinion of modern science. Not mental as in deranged or violent, he did not rock from side to side, he still had all his fingers and had no problem following the yellow line along the corridor of ward 23 to breakfast. Marlon Fish had developed a death pact with a tumour in his brain. It was not an outcome either had wanted but the reality of their situation dictated otherwise, it was a case of one organ living off the other whilst trying not to kill each other.
The fact that Marlon had entered into philosophical debates with his tumour and refused medication had resulted in his current whereabouts, ward 23. Neither of them Marlon Fish or his tumour liked the ward, prompting the escape attempt, their subsequent capture and an enforced program of medication. This was the problem, time was short, the medication strong and the padded cell uncomfortable.
Medication it seems only controls certain parts of the brain and this was the loophole the tumour had been waiting for. The plan to leave not only the hospital but also Marlons brain had come easily. Although Marlon conducted a fairly good conversation the tumour knew that he was only using 10% of his brain and this annoyed it. Living in close proximity to the untapped regions of Marlons brain the tumour had discovered a sub concious level it could enter and thrive in eventually gaining 98% control of his own enviroment, evolving effectively himself and possibly his host.
Marlon needed to be free of medication , the four padded walls and although it would take some effort the tumour had a plan, a plan that would be put into effect as soon as the nurse delivered the next injection of liquid oblivion, first the nurse, then out, then evolution! Simple, if you're mental...

THE HISTORY OF WURNITSCH SOUP
In the year 1759 Lukas Wurnitsch a half Romainian, half Crustacean carnival freak happened upon a tasty fungus which was attached to the lower body of his now fermented shrunken headed dead wife - Matilde Wurnitsch, or The Indestructable Dead Voodoo Bitch as she was known in carnival life. After tasting and realising the psychadelic qualities of this fungus Wurnitsch telegrammed his scientist friend Adolf Hoffman, who took the fungus to his underground lab in Basel Switzerland to study its habits.
Years went by as did generations of Wurnitsch freaks and Hoffman scientists, both familys bonded together by the mysterious fungus, now almost 250 years old. On April 16th 1943 a Hoffman descendent Albert, also a scientist, accidentally discovered LSD, or so the world was told. After years of cover ups and disinformation it is now widely accepted that LSD is in fact the main ingredient in Wurnitsch soup, it is produced in the Alps by Wurnitsch descendents and sold globally as Heinz Tomato Soup or on the dark streets of London by the great great great grandaughter of Lukas Wurnitsch ... Ursula Wurnitsch.
